課程概述

This course provide fundamental description and analysis of processing data from Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR) and Interferometric SAR (InSAR). The topics will cover SAR basic principles and signal properties, range and azimuth compression, signal processing algorithms, interferometry and coregistration by using open access software SNAP provided from Euroapean Space Agency (ESA) and ISCE (InSAR Scientific Computing Environment) developed by JLP, NASA. For quick repose of natural hazard and assessment of feasibility of radar images applied in detection on landslide and flood areas induced by typhoon and heavy rainfall by using multi-temporal radar images. For applications in monitoring of surface displacement induced by process of earthquake cycle, landslide, land subsidence, tectonic activity, land subsidence, volcanic activity and ice sheet motion, the D-InSAR and Persistent Scatterers InSAR will be the main topics of this course.
